Surfboard & Bodyboard Rentals

We have a large fleet of Rental Surfboards. $40 for 24 hours/$95 per week.
Bodyboards rent for $25 for 24 hours/$65 per week.
To sign out a rental you must be 18, show your driver's license, and have a credit card. All rentals are "first come - first served"; we do not offer reservations.
Remember renters, you should always stay away from crowds (we recommend avoiding the Washout and the Pier), and always give wave priority to the surfer up first and closest to the peak!

Consignments

We offer a consignment program to help you sell your used surfboard.
You set the price; we'll do the selling.
Although this program competes with selling our own used boards (bad for us), it also guarantees that we always have the best and largest selection of used surfboards around (good for everyone).

The Beach Project

THE BEACH PROJECT (TBP) campaign began in 2019 when artist, Chris Kemp, designed a t-shirt that bore the TBP name. Since then, the product offering has grown in quantity, styles, and sales. Whenever a TBP item is sold, we set aside 20% of the sale and present a check to a local nonprofit at the end of each year. Although the nonprofit we select changes from year to year, our mission remains the same:  To fervently protect our water, marine life, and beaches.
Since its inception, TBP's annual gift has ranged from $6,000 to $7,500. This is thanks to supporters like you.
In 2021, we presented the Charleston Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation with a check for $6,000. And, in 2022, TBP sales increased to where we were able to donate $7,500 to Charleston Waterkeeper. And, in 2023, we donated $6,000 to the Lowcountry Marine Mammal Network. If you are a part of or know of an environmental nonprofit that you feel should be considered for our next donation, please let us know!
