Chris Christenson has been shaping over 30 years. Not only is he a world-class surfer/snowboarder, but he is almost a scratch golfer too. In 1992, Chris’ shaping career began with a six-year apprenticeship with shaping legend, Dick Brewer. It was perfecting the skill of shaping boards under Brewer, and the influence of his then-neighbor Skip Frye, that solidified Chris’ ability to design and shape any size/type surfboard.
This has led Chris to not only shape radical shortboards and mid-lengths but also big guns for some of the heavy hitters in the big wave world. Brad Gerlach, Greg Long, Rusty Long, Ian Walsh, and Mark Healy are just a few of the monster chasers out there that have trusted their lives to a Christenson gun.
