Surf Report in South Carolina is right here. For over thirty-five years
we've been maintaining this service that notifies our customers about
current wave height, wave condition, tides, winds, and water
temperature. Whenever needed, the Report doubles as a public
service announcer broadcasting information about surfing competitions

Consignments |

Here's something you don't often see. We offer a Consignment program to help you sell your used board. You set the price; we'll do the selling. Once it's purchased, you have the option of either receiving a check for 75% of the selling price or a store credit for 100%! You can apply your credit toward another board, a wetsuit, or even save it for wax purchases for the rest of your life - there's no expiration date on our credits. Although this program competes with our own used board collection (bad for us), it also guarantees that we always have the best and largest selection of used surfboards around (good for you). |
Surfing Lessons |
| McKevlin's can put you in contact with
experienced, reliable, and professional independent instructors giving
surfing lessons. One-hour sessions are available at
a cost of $40; the instructor provides the surfboard. To schedule a lesson,
simply call McKevlin's, and we'll put you in
touch with your surfing tutor.

| McKevlin's offers a variety of bodyboards and a massive collection of surfboards for rent. The surfboards range in length from 5'0" to 9'4"; the designs range from soft polyethylene foam BZ's , to foam core/ plastic-shelled Bic's. Bodyboard rental rates are $3 per hour and $15 for 24 hours. Surfboards go out for $5 an hour, $25 for 24 hours, and $75 per week. Some of the very best surfers in our area got their start on one of our rental boards; you could too. |
