Lost Surfboards is the brainchild of Matt "Mayhem" Biolos, owner/shaper.  They're put to the test by well-known riders all over the world like Shea Lopez, Cory Lopez, Shane Beschen, Aaron Cormican,  Dino Andino, Mason Ho, Kolohe Andino, Coco Ho, Carissa Moore, Luke Davis, Ian Walsh, Balaram Stack, Asher Nolan, Chris Ward, Taj Burrow and many others.
Lost's Puddle Jumper RP was a brand new model for 2016. It borrows most of the winning characteristics of the Puddle Jumper but with less tail width and a bit more rocker in the nose and tail. These changes allow the board to adapt to bigger, punchier conditions while still maintaining enough volume for typical Folly surf. For 2017, they've gone one step further with the Puddle Jumper concept and have introduced the Puddle Fish - a fish version of the PJ!
The Quiver Killer was introduced in 2016. It's based on the Short Round outline but with more rocker and less nose. The tail shape has been changed to a rounded, thumb shape but still fairly wide. It still rides mushy, weak surf with ease, but it's also comfortable on a larger, clean face. For 2017, ...Lost has introduced this board in EDD (Every Day Dimensions). The Quiver Killer had been popular, but riders kept going for larger sizes to get the volume they wanted. Now, with the introduction of the EDD Quiver Killer, the same basic shape is "filled-out" just a little which makes it easy to float on a shorter version.
In 2015 Brian and Tim met with Matt Biolos and asked him to design a "Biolos Style" shape for people to learn on. We wanted something with the float and paddling ease of a fun shape, but we also wanted a board that could adapt better to bigger waves. And we wanted the new shape to be edgier, thinner, faster, and more responsive than your standard fun shape. Matt came up with a board that perfectly fit our requests. We call it the Wave Monster, and we stock it in sizes from 6'8" to 7'8".
