McKevlin's offers a variety of bodyboards and a massive collection of surfboards for rent.  The surfboards range in length from 5'0" to 10'0"; the designs include soft BZ's and Doyle's, to foam core/plastic-shelled Bic's and Hi-Fly's, to the American-made, progressive Catch Surf's.  Bodyboard rates are $5 per hour and $20 for 24 hours.  Surfboards go out for $7 an hour, $30 for 24 hours, and $75 per week.  To sign out a rental you must be 18, show your driver's license, and have a credit card.  Some of the best surfers in our area got their very first ride using one of our rental boards; you could too.
